I'm In Thailand!

Published Thursday 12th of November 2009

Once again I've been quiet for a while and again it's because I've been slacking off! :)

A while back I mentioned that I was about to move to Thailand and the reason I've been so quiet is 4 weeks ago I landed in Bangkok and I've just been chilling since.

I've only just started playing around with the computer again and felt like telling you what I've been up to.

We only stayed a couple of days in BKK and then got on a bus to Koh Lanta in the south.

The trip was pretty much 20 hours, 14 of them on the first bus from BKK to Surat Thani and the rest on various other vehicles.

Since then we've just been beach surfing Lanta. Going from Klong Dao to Long Beach and then on to Klong Nin where we are at the moment.

We've made friends with the staff over at one of the restaurants and they always offer us crazy stuff to eat or drink. I've had purple potato-deserts, super-hot curry crab, cobra-shots (as well as monkey brain ("for make smarter") and sea snake-shots) + other thai-specialities.

Now we're in Ao Nang outside Krabi. The plan is to head over to Koh Phi Phi in a week or so, but before that we'll check out Reiley Beach for a couple of days.

After Phi Phi we'll head back to Lanta to meet the folks and then on to Koh Tao and Koh Samui and then I don't really know.

We have to be out of the country before the 2nd of January so we'll be starting to head towards Malaysia some time before then.

I'll try to post a little more frequently but it's rare I get any wifi and I can't be arsed with the internet cafe computers...

Laters!

Seems splendilicious mate! I can't wait to get a demo of aFramework if/when you guys come over, and hope to see ya in KL.

Sounds like resorting to wireless will be dangerously difficult over there though :D
